Thaba Moshate Casino South Africa Gaming and Rewards

Gaming Floor and Table Options

Inside our Burgersfort resort, the main gaming area covers 6,000 square metres. We’ve got 160 slot machines waiting for you, spread out across both the main casino and the Salon Privé. Table games sit nearby: eight American Roulette stations, a single Poker table, and a couple of Blackjack tables. Everything is laid out so it’s easy to find your way.

Salon Privé is its own spot - quieter, a bit more private, with 21 extra slot machines and three exclusive tables you won’t find in the main hall. Entry requirements are the same for both areas. Sometimes table limits move up or down, depending on the time of day or type of game. Roulette uses the standard American layout with 38 pockets (including both 0 and 00). Blackjack uses a multi-deck shoe.

Winners Circle Loyalty Program

Every time you play at Thaba Moshate Casino South Africa, you can earn points in our Winners Circle loyalty programme. Just pop your card into a slot machine, or let the dealer register you at a table, and your points rack up automatically.

Points systems differ a bit: on slots, it’s all about coins played; at table games, your average bet and session length are what count. Balances show up in real time. You’ll see your rewards add up as you go.

Points are redeemable for quite a few perks:

1. Dining credits at Platinum Aloe Restaurant
2. Reduced room rates at Peermont Metcourt Hotel
3. Vouchers for Molecule Showbar performances
4. Spa credit
5. Instant cashback at player services

Check points or your loyalty tier at kiosks near the entrance or at player services. You can also use the Peermont Hotels App to track your account, see your status, or manage bookings right from your phone.

Cashless Gaming System

We keep everything cash-free on our gaming floor. Load money onto your casino card at kiosks or cashier desks, then use it at slots or redeem for chips. Slot machines read your card-your bets deduct automatically, wins land right back on the card. No need to handle coins or notes.

Kiosks accept debit cards, credit cards, and cash. Transfers are instant - ready in seconds. For table games, swap your card balance for chips either at the tables themselves or at the main cashier window. Dealers handle electronic table transactions with their own terminals.

When you’re finished, you’ll just hand in your card at the cashier to withdraw. Staff help with cash or bank transfer based on the amount you want. Want to see your transaction history? Just ask at player services.

Promotions and Entry Methods

We run monthly promotions right through the year, both for slot fans and table game regulars. These can be prize draws, events with higher payouts, or full tournaments. Most of the time you’ll need your Winners Circle card to participate.

For slot promotions the system does everything for you: every qualifying spin creates an automatic entry for the draw. Table promotions require a quick registration with a supervisor when you sit down to play; they’ll take note if your session or your hand qualifies for a prize. Details of draws and prize claim locations are always on screens by the entrance, or ask any of our staff.

Peermont Metcourt Hotel Packages

Our Peermont Metcourt Hotel is right next to the casino - just walk across. Bookings go through the website, Peermont Hotels App, or phone at +27 (0)13 045 0450.

Hotel packages often include more than just a room: look out for deals with bundled dining credit or gaming vouchers. Winners Circle loyalty members sometimes unlock package prices that aren’t visible on standard booking channels.

Check-in is at hotel reception, not the casino desk. You’ll get your room keys, casino floor plan, and info on restaurants and events. Our indoor corridors link hotel and casino for easy movement.

You can choose from standard rooms to executive suites, each with its own set of features for a three-star stay.

Platinum Aloe Restaurant

Platinum Aloe Restaurant is our main eatery, welcoming guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s open for walk-ins and bookings.

We serve a mix of local flavours and international classics. Casino points can be used to pay for meals. There’s also cash, card payment, or room charge for hotel guests. If you’ve got a big group, call ahead for the table and menus.

On the casino floor, you’ll find snack bars and quick bites. Drinks are available at game stations and tables, with waitstaff making rounds for active players.

Location and Access

Our resort is located on R555 Steelpoort Road in Burgersfort, in Limpopo’s Sekhukhune district. The coordinates are S: 24° 39’ 59.836” E: 30° 18’ 10.234”. It’s about 170km from Polokwane and a short drive from Ohrigstad, with easy access from the Panorama Route.

Our buildings feature isiNdebele and Sepedi decorative elements. Construction was a big project under the Peermont group, with more than R300 million put into the property.

After a pause, Thaba Moshate Casino South Africa re-opened for gaming from July 2020, operating in line with all current government health guidelines.

Responsible Gaming and Age Requirements

Entry to the casino floor is for those 18 and over. We check IDs every time you come in - bring your South African ID book, ID card, driver’s license or your passport if you’re not a local.

We support the National Responsible Gambling Programme. Messages with information on responsible gambling and helpline contacts are easily visible throughout the premises. Supervisors keep an eye out for anyone who may need a break. If necessary, you can ask to be temporarily excluded from play.

You’ll see reminders like “Winners know when to stop” on screens and promo materials - this is a standard practice across casinos in South Africa.

Peermont Hotels App Features

The Peermont Hotels App makes your stay more convenient. Available for both iOS and Android, it connects to your Winners Circle account.

You can check your loyalty points, view your current tier, make hotel bookings across all Peermont properties, and see upcoming casino events. The app is for information and booking only-actual casino gaming continues to happen at the property, not digitally.

Getting started is easy: just register with your email and link your loyalty number. All your points and status appear both on the app and your physical card.
